20 Weeks

Today is the half way mark!  I am 20 weeks today.  Baby girl is more and more active all the time.  Can you believe that I have known I am having a girl for a week now and still have not shopped.  Boy Dalton is NOT going to be happy when I start bringing home "pink stuff."  I am not entirely sure if he is upset about it being a girl or about the baby idea all together.  I think it is both. 

Back to the shopping thing.  My mom-in-law took care of that for me this weekend!  She was ready to shop for a girl.  I can not wait to get my hands on them but she sent me pictures for now.  This is some of the cute stuff she found!  Hmm I wonder how long before I can put bows in her hair?????  She will probably be like my sister and still BALD at 1 year old!  LOL

OK nevermind.  I can't get the pictures that Kathy sent me to work, so here is a picture off of the Gymboree website of the blanket she got.  CUTE! 

It is a sweet baby......

Girl!  She is healthy and measures perfectly.  Dalton was trying to convience the ultrasound tech that it looked like a boy.  NOPE!  It is a girl!  I have not started shopping yet but that will soon change. 

After the appointment we went out to dinner and then I spent the rest of the evening playing with names.  None that I love so far.  She is just sweet pea for now.  We are excited!  I soooo can not picture Chris with a girl. Can't wait to see them together!!

The election

I take peace in the fact that the Lord is my Ultimate Leader.

October wrap up

The boys did have a good Halloween.  Me I am really frustrated with how early I get tired.  I normally love the pumpkin carving but this year Chris was doing it all while I was falling asleep one evening.  He only got one carved.  I did not get my mums, straw, and pumpkin set up on my front porch this year...bummer.  I bought all the beautiful magazines and wanted to get it done but oh well.  

The boys wrapped up their soccer season with a pizza party Monday night.  They are proud of their trophies.  I still need to get a picture of that.  Now they are really having fun with neighborhood football.  The house across the street has a big front yard and they all play there. Luckily she does not mind.

Here are a few pictures from different Halloween events.  Dalton was a character from Narnia and Peyton was a Ghoul.  HE did not wear the mask. 

The last three are from when we went to the Hermitage a week ago. The kids started dancing to a band that was playing so they put the kids to work and formed a jug band.  Peyton was on spoons and Dalton had the sticks.  Too fun.  Then they got to decorate pumpkins.
